The essence of Amboseli is Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, which dominates everything in sight. The main attraction of the National Park are the large elephant population and the prolific birdlife. There are few trees in Amboseli and part of its attraction is the ease and certainty of game viewing, unobstructed by bush and scrub.
Ol Tukai is camouflaged in a forest of fever trees and palms. Its has excellent conference facilities and is a perfect place to unwind. From your room stretches a panorama of landscape, sky and wildlife with the massive majesty of snow-capped Kilimanjaro in the background.
Cottage style accommodation spreads out on the either side of the main lodge. The architecture is unobtrusive with lots of wood, local stone and slate. There are two double rooms especially designed for the disabled and ramps for wheelchairs are the norm. You may also choose to have a swim and cool off.
