Day 1   Arrive Nairobi   (D)
Jambo and welcome to Kenya! You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Later this afternoon, travel out to the Ngong Hills and the Karen von Blixen museum. You'll have time to tour the house of the famous author of "Out of Africa" and enjoy the magnificent views of the Ngong Hills before continuing to the Giraffe Center. Enjoy the fun of feeding the Rothschild giraffes before returning to your hotel. This evening, celebrate your first night in Kenya with dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant. Nairobi Safari Park

Day 2   Nairobi-Serengeti   (BLD)
Leave Nairobi early this morning and cross the border into Tanzania. After lunch in Arusha, take a light aircraft flight to Tanzania's most famous park, the Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive enroute from the airstrip to your lodge. Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Day 3   Serengeti   (BLD)
Rise early this morning to enjoy a game drive as the animals begin to stir across the expansive plains of the Serengeti. You'll have time to relax at your lodge during the heat of the day before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Game is abundant in the Serengeti: wildebeest, zebra, buffalo and impala all dot the horizon. The predators are found here as well and you will almost certainly spot lion and cheetah during your stay. Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Day 4   Serengeti-Ngorongoro   (BLD)
Your first stop today is at Olduvai Gorge, site of some of the most significant archaeological excavations. After stopping for a picnic lunch, continue on to the Ngorongoro Conservation area where the remainder of the day is at leisure. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 5   Ngorongoro   (BLD)
A highlight awaits as you descend 2,000 feet to the crater floor for a full day of game viewing. The Crater's wide variety of habitats allows it to support abundant wildlife. Birdlife is equally spectacular - be sure to have your binoculars ready. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 6   Ngorongoro-Lake Manyara   (BLD)
Drive to Lake Manyara this morning. Views of the Rift Valley are breathtaking here and this afternoon you'll have an opportunity to enjoy an escorted walk along the escarpment. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Thanks to the wide variety of habitats found inside Lake Manyara National Park, game is plentiful. Be on the lookout for the graceful impala, the mischievous baboon and much more. Lake Manyara Serena Lodge

Day 7   Lake Manyara-Tarangire   (BL) Your journey takes you to Tarangire today. Thanks to the permanent water supply of the Tarangire River, the park is a dry-season haven for huge herds of wildebeest, zebra and other plains game. During your afternoon game drive enjoy the vistas dotted with majestic baobab trees. Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 8   Tarangire-Nairobi-Depart   (BLD) Return to Arusha where you stop for lunch before continuing by road to Nairobi. Day rooms are available until your evening departure on the overnight flight to London.
